Uncle Sam is a newly open All American Restaurant located at Sto. Nino Street. Tacloan City. Grand opening will be around Mid August.

It’s actually my Second time to visit this Resto but the first time I went I didn’t have Cam with me and I realized I wanted to blog about something after we ate all the food. Lol. So when Kim texted and asked if we wanted to get some dinner with her and her boyfie and Since belle, jo and myself was out already GO ang peg =D Food yan eh. Hehe :)

     So when we arrived, we all had a hard time to choose from the menu. The menu looks so good that you’d be so confuse what to get, I wanted to order Asap coz the last time I ate at the place it took almost 25 minutes to have the food. I guess maybe because they’re all new that’s why, I was so patient the last time.

    Place is all American, with Uncle Sam Pointing at you. Lol. I find the floor outside so cute with all the stars. Inside, all the wall are framed with all this TV shows such as Baywatch, Friends, Glee etc. The ambiance is very relaxing, makes you feel as if your actually in a diner in US. While the Staff naman are all smiling and are very attentive J

    All of their Food Price ranges from P100-400

    So this is all the food we ordered. 

I. Lovely Strawberry ( I’m not even sure about the name)       

Basta 3 scoops of strawberry Ice Cream. Well, It’s Ice cream, it’s obviously Yummy. Haha!

II. This one is “ Baked Potato and Chicken Gratin”

We scored this 8/9 over 10. This is really good. Yum Baked Potatoes and that very tasty Gravy and the chicken in the middle is to die for. Flavoursome =D Presentation wise, it was ok but they just put a LOT of parsley’s noh? Haha.

But we ordered for another one ( That’s the one on the right) and it had different presentation meaning NaWaley ang plate. Why? Haha.

IV. New York’s Buffalo Wings, Rice Pilaf (Starch) + Salad of the day

We scored this 6/7 out of 10. The chicken was actually too sweet for me, there were 3 pieces of it so when I was on my 2^nd chicken my taste bud all go too sweetened up that if I ever eat many of this my taste bud would be fed up and I would prolly stop eating it. But don’t get me wrong it was tasty just too sweet.

V. Baked Mac & Cheese

We scored this 7 over 10. Typical Baked Mac. All cheesy balanced with creaminess. I was so full I didn’t even remember this so much.

VI. I’m sorry but I forgot the name of this. But this is some fried potatoes. 

Belle Scored this 5 over 10, she said it was very bland and that she could make this at home. Lol J

That would be it. I’m sure I’d visit again, There are way more room for improvements for this new resto I’m sure it will get better in time. I can’t wait to blog about it again when it’s all super good na. And oh they give us all this

Alexi's + Mt. Dew + Grey's = FUN!:)

     So after a long time of not blogging , I decided to write again and for the first time I’m gonna blog about something that I really love and it is about.. *drum rolls*.. FOOD!:) 

     So yeah, it’s a stated fact that me and my friends loves to eat whenever we go out and today we certainly did, Janelle texted us up to help her with something and that she’d treat us pizza after that. But I ran late and didn’t even get to help her (Sorry Janz) But still she treated us, we went to this epic pizza place here in Tacloban which is named * another drum roll*  “Alexi’s Pizzeria” haha. Which is by the way we conclude named after Alexis who is the Boyfie of Belle and also a friend of ours. Too bad he's in Manila.

 Anyway, Belle and Janz got this Cheese pizza, and Jojo & I got Onion Beef Pizza. Janz wanted fries but didn’t know what to get and belle jokingly said get the 3 kinds instead, well she actually did. Hindi siya mahirap na kausap. Lol. And  we also got a pitcher of Mt. Dew. So when Jo arrived he got more fries, it was all seriously too much for 4 people but oh well, all we have to do was talk about Grey’s Anatomy (which we are big fan by the way) we all picked who our characters would be. Without argument I was “Meredith” Coz I am all dark and twisty daw, And Belle would be “Cristina” not just because in real life Belle is a good friend of mine just like how Mer and Cristina is but they almost look the same. Hahaha! And they are mean and crazy and weird in the same way :) and Janelle daw is “Lexie“ coz she has all this thing with hot men, like how she is addicted to azkals which of course most of the players are Hawt, and lastly Jojo daw is “Teddy” the Cardio Surgeon, not just because jojo loves cardio but he has this all weird and crappy lovelife (Chos, sorry jo J) like teddy!

     And since we all have our characters , all we did was to tease each other about it while eating all the food in the table, since I’m mer they we’re teasing me of having a “Hostile Uterus” and We we’re teasing Jojo how he's “ugly”, I know that’s kinda mean but Belle said Teddy is ugly when she cries, when she’s smiling. Lahat nalang, so we conclude Teddy is Ugly and therefore Jojo is. Hahaha! Chekka lang!=D If you watch Grey’s Then Relate na relate kayo! We were laughing all so loud and being funny and we realize were drinking so much that it made us all wonder why we were being high on Mt.Dew,we had 2 pitchers! As verbalized by Janelle “Someone spiked that Mt.Dew” coz we’re all acting drunk. So after finishing all the food, Janz had to go and Me, belle, Jo went to stroll lang around downtown. Until it’s time for dinner. Food much buh? ;D

So as I was at Dunkindonuts after a barbeque meal with my two of my best friends, we sat down and started to talk about random stuff about everything and everyone.  One of those are the “issues” our circle of friends have concerning on being in a relationship.  Like how one of us has “trust issues”, other one has “intimacy issues”, “attachment issues”, ”Standard issues” and how my friend “J” was so frustrated because he can’t think of issue for himself. (maganda lang te eh!) and for myself “B” said I have commitment issues., I looked at her and I nodded and agreed.  It was actually the first time someone said that and I’m glad someone pinpointed that for me.

Commitment Issues?

Indeed. That’s the reason why every relationship I had never worked out. (chos, super many ba?haha)

To lay all my card of the reasons why I have commitment issues, I think it’s because..

1.       The epic fail marriage of my parents. Everyone who comes from a broken family could actually get me with this. I was 6 years old when my parents separated, my brother was 12. Imagine how hard it was for me to act innocent of what was going on.  I knew by that time everything would not just be normal. So I grew up with the thought of every relationship just won’t work out. No matter how u try hard for it.

2.       Because my Dad cheated not just once, but twice. Or so I know.

3.       And the many fail marriages and relationships I came to know more about in the coming years.

4.       How the people I know just Rant and rant of how being a relationship sucks. (lmao)

And so that’s why I came to have that Issue. Thinking about it all now, I never actually told myself that’s the problem. It’s always “I’m scared, or I’m not good at this or even we both suck at this” kind of reasons.

Let’s take Guy no.1 for an example

Chos #1. He was my 

first ever big crush back in old high school days. I met him through all those subdivision events, where I went out for the 1^st time after living in that place for 3 years to socialize with neighbours. He was tall and super cute (well, that time.) and I really got to like him, and I don’t know or maybe I forgot already how everything happened that we became an item. Like he actually liked me too, but we we’re so discreet then. My friends in that place didn’t like him for he was not just the stick to one of guy daw, I didn’t listen but that made me scared. I was thinking to myself “Omg, this is it” This is the sign that things will not go anywhere far from what I wanted to. But geez, for 2 years we we’re in a love and hate relationship.  He says he loves me and I’d say the same, next day I’d hate him and don’t want to ever see him. Those we’re the times when I was thinking I could handle whatever we have and that we never have to go official. But one sunny afternoon, we we’re texting.

Him: How’s

 your day? Blah blah blah blah

Me: Fine. 

Blah Blah Blah blah

*fast forward*

Him: ILYSM! J

Me: ILY too J

Him: Can’t we ever go official?

Me: I’m scared. Blah blah blah blah

Him: You don’t have to be. Just give it a try, Blah Blah

Me: No, I just can’t.

And to make the conversation short, that day I decided I can’t be with him because I just can’t commit. He said he’s goodbye, we ended up as friends. But dude seriously, that was so hard to get over it. It was my decision to be what we are. Months later I found out he has a girlfriend already. I was “oh, Okey. Really time to move on” But this Chos#1 was seriously hard to get over the years, I was always drawn to him whenever we talk, it was crazy. But somewhere between all those lines, I regret in some point. That I wished I just took the risk so that I’ll know what could have been of us.

So that’s my 1^st taste of my commitment issue.  I’ll get hold more of it later, finally bed is calling me to sleep. Chao J
